US Solar Eclipse 2017 - Outreach Grant Opportunity! On August 21, 2017, join millions gathering from Oregon to South Carolina for an opportunity to see the solar corona and all phases of the eclipse. Outside the totality path, the entire North American continent will witness a partial eclipse. This summer, SPS National will provide chapters the opportunity to engage with this special occurrence! Chapters within the total eclipse path and across the country can apply for our Solar Eclipse Outreach Grants. Once awarded, SPS will provide solar eclipse safety glasses and outreach kits for educational and fun workshop demos for the public.

Applying for the Solar Outreach Grant is a great way to showcase your community involvement when applying for the Outstanding Chapter Award or can make your Chapter Reports shine.
