Last Chance to Apply for SPS Scholarships!

SPS awards scholarships of $2,000-$5,000 to undergraduate physics students on the basis of scholarship, SPS participation, and additional criteria as outlined in the descriptions listed here. Applications & letters of recommendation must be received, and official transcripts must be postmarked by THIS THURSDAY, March 15 at 11:59pm EST. Apply today!

Nominate your Outstanding SPS Advisor 

Has your chapter received an Outstanding Chapter designation in the last two years? Then nominate your Advisor for SPS’s most prestigious award! The Outstanding SPS Chapter Advisor is awarded $5,000 to be divided three ways. Nominations are due Thursday, March 15 by 11:59pm EST. Nominate your Advisor today!

Apply for the Undergraduate Research Award

The Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award is given to students based on exceptional research in any physics-related field. Awardees will receive up to $1,800 to cover costs to attend one AIP member society meeting, a $500 honorarium for themselves, and a $500 honorarium for their SPS chapter. Applications are due Thursday, March 15 by 11:59pm EST. Apply Today!

Don’t Miss the JURP Submission Deadline!

SPS is accepting submissions for the Journal of Undergraduate Reports in Physics (JURP). JURP gives undergraduate students the opportunity to share their work and be published in a peer-reviewed journal. The early submission deadline is Thursday, March 15 at 11:59pm EST.
