The 2016 Sigma Pi Sigma (ΣΠΣ) Quadrennial Physics Congress (PhysCon) takes place 3-5 November, at the Hyatt Regency-San Francisco Airport in Burlingame, California – near Silicon Valley and San Francisco. The theme of PhysCon 2016 is Unifying Fields, Science Driving Innovation.
The Society of Physics Students, through a grant from the National Science Foundation to the American Institute of Physics and the American Physical Society, has funding for a limited number of full travel awards (registration, travel, and lodging). These awards are available for students attending minority-serving institutions (MSIs) and historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) to attend PhysCon 2016.
Allow us to help your students experience this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We've provided this flyer to hang in your department.
