Dear Sigma Pi Sigma member,
As we prepare the spring issue of the Radiations Magazine, I would like to bring your attention to two ways you can connect to both students and the larger community—our member news and SPS Jobs. Radiations is the official magazine of Sigma Pi Sigma (ΣΠΣ) and we would like to use the publication to highlight the accomplishments of our members. If you have achieved an academic or professional milestone and would like to share this with the larger community, we encourage you to let us know. Please submit items about civic activities, honors bestowed, promotions, degrees earned, and career changes at:
Additionally, did you know you can post positions through SPS jobs? SPS jobs is a partner in the AIP Career Network, a collection of online job sites for scientists, engineers, and computing professionals. Other partners include Physics Today, the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT), American Physical Society (APS Physics), AVS Science and Technology, and the IEEE Computer Society. If you are interested in advertising your summer internships, job postings, or other positions, this resource can help target students, early career professionals, and mentors within the field. A variety of options exist and summer internship positions can be posted for free for a limited time.
Recently moved? If you would like to update your mailing address for Radiations, please do so here. If you want to connect through social media, find out more here. And, if you want to engage with a local ΣΠΣ chapter through inductions, let us know.
