*NEW* BestColleges Scholarship for Black Women in STEM

BestColleges has recently announced their new scholarship opportunity for black women earning undergraduate degrees in a STEM field. Five $6,000 scholarships will be given away this year! If you are interested in  applying, please visit their website here  to view the eligibility requirements and how to apply. Applications are due September 30, 2023.

 
 

Try the NASA HOEE Starshade Challenge

The NASA HOEE Starshade Challenge is intended for undergraduate students in Engineering and Physics/Astronomy and helps to promote skills  you’ve learned through your college career by helping to design a next generation NASA telescope! Showcase your ability to problem solve, plan, and think critically to design and produce an ultra-low mass Starshade . Learn more and sign up at https://aip.org/starshade . 

This challenge is first come, first serve, for up to 20 teams. Teams will be given an honorarium of $1,000 to construct a scale model, work with NASA Scientists, and winning designs will split  $20,000!
