TheNASA HOEE Starshade Challenge is intended for undergraduate students in Engineering and Physics/Astronomy and helps to promote skillsyou’ve learned through your college career by helping to design a next generation NASA telescope! Showcase your ability to problem solve, plan, and think critically to design and produce an ultra-low mass Starshade. Learn more and sign up at https://aip.org/starshade.
This challenge is first come, first serve, for up to 20 teams. Teams will be given an honorarium of $1,000 to construct a scale model, work with NASA Scientists, and winning designs will split$20,000!
