Submitting one allows you to be considered to be considered for the 2024-25SPS Chapter Awards!This is also a great way to look back on your accomplishments from the past year and be included in SPS publications. Check out ourrubric, the Chapter Report overview, or keep an eye out for an official template to start preparing. SPS chapters that submit on time will be entered in a drawing to be one of ten winners of a $100 gift card for a pizza party!

Get Ready to Become a PhysCon Reporter!
The 2025 Physics Congress is from October 30 to November 1 in Denver, Colorado. Start thinking of the different ways you can be involved and keep an eye out for Physics Congress travel awards and grants!
HBCU/MSI Travel Award: Awards will be available for students who attend HBCU/MSI schools. The PhysCon HBCU/MSI Travel award covers lodging, travel, and registration for the congress! Awards are given out on a first come, first-served basis!
Chapter Travel Awards: Awards will also be available for chapters travelling together!One hotel room will be provided for the duration of the congress. Be sure to watch for the application to open next year, as they
are on a first-come, first-served basis!
Reporters: Reporter awardsoffer partial support, up to $300 for an individual reporter and $250 per person for chapter reporters, with the recipient writing a 2-3 page reflections about the meeting from a student perspective, which may become a featured article on the SPS website, in publications such as The SPS Observer or Radiations, or the publications of the organization hosting the meeting.

Make sure your chapter votes before May 1, 2024, in the SPS and Sigma Pi Sigma Council elections. Check out thecandidatesfor your zone. Each chapter gets 1 vote – when your chapter isready to vote, please contact your SPS advisor or your Zone’s Counselorsfor the required login information.
