NEW Scholarship Opportunity!
The Marian H. Rose Research Scholarship offers $15,000 annually to support one female-identifying graduate student conducting research in physics or related fields, with a preference for climate and environmental science. Named in honor of Dr. Marian H. Rose, a pioneering plasma physicist and environmental advocate, this scholarship seeks to empower women in science and advance research that addresses critical environmental challenges. Eligible applicants must be early-career female or female-identifying graduate students in good academic standing, with membership in Sigma Pi Sigma or an SPS alumni status.
Applications are due November 15.

Apply your physics skills to science policy, science communication, outreach,education, and research – Applications for the SPS Summer Internship Program open November 1! Students are placed at organizations, such as AAPT, APS, Capitol Hill, NIST, Space Telescope Science Institute, and more. If you're interested in past experiences, check out the intern blogs and final presentations!
