SPS News - Issue 114: September 12, 2017

Welcome from the SPS President

Greetings and welcome to a new and exciting academic year. This is a special year for me as I have the honor to serve as president of the National Organization of the Society of Physics Students. I personally and professionally benefited so much from my involvement in SPS, so I encourage all of you to start taking advantage of the opportunities SPS has to offer. Become active in your local chapter, attend campus events, participate in outreach events in the community, present your research at various forums, reach out to other chapters in your zone and get involved in SPS National activities. This academic year is only going to get more exciting and the rewards will be tremendous.

Sincerely,

Alina Gearba-Sell

President, Society of Physics Students
