What is a Zone Meeting?

Zone meetings bring together students from SPS chapters within geographical regions. They are a fun way for undergraduates to network, present their research, and interact with practicing scientists. Every SPS zone meeting takes on a unique style and culture, shaped by the traditions of the schools in the region. Some zones regularly meet with professional society meetings while others occur spontaneously.

To find your zone, click here.

How do I find info about my Zone Meeting?

In the coming weeks, your Zone Councilor (ZC) or Associate Zone Councilor (AZC) should reach out to you with details about your zone meeting. They will provide information about location, registration, and if there are travel funds available to you and your chapter.

If you do not hear from your ZC or AZC, we recommend you reach out to them, contact info is located here.
