Get Published this Summer!

This is the last week to submit your report for publication in the Journal of Undergraduate Reports in Physics (JURP). JURP gives undergraduate students the opportunity to share their work and be published in a peer-reviewed journal, headed for print this summer! The deadline for submissions is next Tuesday, May 15 at 11:59pm EDT. For submission instructions, click here.

Free Pizza for your Chapter

Chapter Reports are a great way to share your accomplishments with other SPS Chapters and the National Office. Submitting a Chapter Report qualifies your school for the Outstanding Chapter Award and other chapter designations. The first 100 chapters to submit their reports will be entered in a drawing for one of five $100 pizza gift cards. The deadline to submit your Chapter Report is June 15. Start your report today!

Show off your Outreach Demos

Have you checked out the low-cost physics demonstrations featured on the SPS website? These demos are fully comprehensive and include: cost of demo, age of audience, presenter notes, and short videos to help you get started. SPS is looking for ideas from you! If you have outreach demonstrations to contribute, contact us at sps-programs@aip.org.
