Intern Applications Due Next Week!

SPS offers a 10-week paid Summer Internship Program in the Washington, DC area. Internship placement sites include AIP, APS, AAPT, OSA, NASA, NIST, Capitol Hill and more! The program also features a number of outreach, professional development, and networking opportunities. Learn more about the program, check out the position descriptions, and read blogs from last year’s interns.


Applications including 2 advisor recommendations are due next Tuesday, January 15.

Request an SPS Alum for Your Next Meeting!

Planning your spring SPS or Zone meetings? Request an SPS/ΣΠΣ alum as a virtual or in-person guest speaker! The Alumni Engagement Program has over 20 alumni who have volunteered to provide talks, job shadowing, and tours. Just visit the website and search available alumni by state, discipline, engagement level, and job sector. When you find a speaker you are interested in, click “Request this Alum!” and enter information about your request. Make sure you check the Alumni page often, we are continuing to add new alumni information every week.
