Women in Physics

March was Women’s History Month and many STEM organizations, including the American Institute of Physics, celebrated by highlighting scientific breakthroughs that women have pioneered, as well as supporting and uplifting young women in science. March also signalled the release of the Statistical Research Center’s 2019 report on Women in Physics and Astronomy which provides a comprehensive overview of the representation and participation of women in physics and astronomy fields.
