PhysCon Awards Open May 9

Whether you are presenting a poster at PhysCon or are interested in science writing for PhysCon – SPS has awards available to you! The Travel Award will provide $200 for students presenting a poster at PhysCon, while the Chapter Reporter Award provides up to $600 for chapters who want to write an official report after attending PhysCon or post to social media during PhysCon. Get Ready for the PhysCon T-shirt Exchange!

For the first time ever, during the Breaking Boundaries event, there will be a t-shirt exchange and design contest! Chapters can bring new club/chapter t-shirts to put into a pool and then receive that same number of t-shirts from various chapters. We encourage chapters to bring both old and new t-shirt designs. Click here for more info about the Breaking Boundaries event and start planning your shirt design now!

Are you following SPS on social media? We will be releasing PhysCon specific competitions and campaigns via social media, so make sure you follow @SPSNational on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Also, be sure to click “Going” on the official PhysCon event page.

How has PhysCon Impacted You?

Have you ever attended PhysCon? If so, we want you to share your experiences in preparation for PhysCon 2019! Use the hashtag #PhysConImpact on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram with pictures of your favorite memories from a previous PhysCon. Don’t have any good pictures? Feel free to share a story instead. We want to know the ways PhysCon has impacted YOU so that current undergraduate students understand why they should attend #PhysCon2019!
