Reach Out to Your Local Representatives
Next week the National Council, which represents all SPS Chapters, will meet to discuss awards, programs, and future SPS initiatives. Your local zone representatives will be equipped with the knowledge and resources to help you and your chapter be successful. If you have any questions or concerns you’d like your Zone Councilor and Associate Zone Councilor to address at the SPS National Council meeting, please contact them as soon as possible.
The 2018-19 Fall Mailer should be in your SPS Chapter Advisor’s mailbox! The mailer includes SPS membership brochures, the new information handbook, informational fliers, fun posters, and more!
AstroIAPS 2018
AstroIAPS is the first excursion of IAPS in Mexico to the National Astronomical Observatory in Ensenada, Mexico taking place this October. Along with the excursion to the observatory, there will also be workshops and lectures related to cosmology, astronomy and astrobiology. For more information, click here.
