SPS Virtual Senior Recognition Ceremony

Many colleges and universities have moved online for the rest of this academic year and into the summer. This has affected all undergraduate students in some way, especially our seniors who are seeing major changes to the traditions that come with being on campus and during graduation. To honor our seniors, SPS will be holding a Virtual Senior Recognition Ceremony on Thursday, May 21 at 3 PM EST . Register today! Family and friends are welcome to join.

We are looking for pictures of our seniors in physics gear, SPS gear, and/or graduation regalia to create a presentation for the virtual send-off! If you are interested in submitting a photo of yourself or of a friend who’s graduating, please email the picture to sps-programs@aip.org with the name(s) of the pictured student(s) and their school!

Chapter Reports are OPEN!

Chapter reports  are a great way to highlight your accomplishments from the past year. Submitting a Chapter Report also enters your school in the running for chapter designations such as the SPS Outstanding Chapter Award . The first 100 chapters to submit their reports will be entered in a drawing for one of five $100 gift cards. Chapter Reports are due June 15.

If your chapter is not submitting a report this year, please update your chapter information for the SPS national office records. You can do this by completing the first section of the chapter report form. Updating your information will also make your chapter eligible for prizes!
