LGBT+ STEM Day
November 18, 2020 is International LGBTQ+ STEM Day! LGBTQ+ STEM Day is a day to support and improve visibility of LGBTQ+ scientists. The Pride in STEM’s website quotes, “…there are lots of ways
you can take part—from a single social media post on #LGBTSTEMDay, to attending or organising a local event.” For resources and to read more about the event, check out their website here!
Upcoming Zone Meetings
Zone meetings bring together students from SPS chapters within geographical zones. They are a fun and effective way for undergraduates to meet other students, present their research, and interact with practicing scientists. Zone meetings in 2020 may look a little different, but they are more convenient to attend and will be just as effective!
