Register NOW for the 2022 Physics Congress
Registrationis open for the 2022 Physics Congress, Oct 6-8, 2022 in downtown Washington DC! If your department has travel funds that need to be used before the end of the semester, now might be a good time to sign up. You can also apply for SPS chapter travel awards, which will help support groups of students traveling to the event. Awards are first come, first serve.
Submit You Chapter Report for a chance to win a $100 Gift Card Prize!
SPS Chapter Reportsarea great way for you to record your accomplishments from the past year and keep us informed about your chapter. Submitting a Chapter Report enters your school in the running for an SPS Outstanding Chapter Awardand other chapter designations. The first 100 chapters to submit their reports will be entered in a drawing for one of six $100 gift cards. Chapter Reports are due June 15!
Even if your chapter is not submitting a report this year, please complete the first section of the form to update your chapter’s information with the SPS national office. Chapters updating their information will also be eligible for prizes!
Paid Summer Research Opportunity in Plasma and Fusion
The Plasma and Fusion Undergraduate Research Opportunities (PFURO)participants will:
Conduct 10 weeks of remote summer research under the guidance of faculty and staff at US undergraduate institutions.
SPS offers Reporter Awards for members attending and reporting on professional physics meetings. Recipients are eligible for up to $75 for virtual meetings. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Apply Now!
