Why Accept an Invitation to Join Sigma Pi Sigma?

Imagine: You’ve been invited to join Sigma Pi Sigma, the only honor society for Physics and Astronomy. Is it worth it? Should you join? What does dedication to scholarship and service mean? Join Assistant Director of Sigma Pi Sigma, Andrew Zeidell, every week starting March 16th at 2 PM EST .  The sessions will last around 15 mins. Register to attend and see you there.

 
 

Start Working on Your Chapter Report

Submit a chapter report by June 15 to be considered for the 2022-23 SPS Chapter Awards! Preparing your Chapter Report is a great way for you to look back on your accomplishments from the past year and to be included in SPS publications. We provide a template and the SPS chapters that submit on time will be entered in a drawing for a $100 gift card!

 
 

Graduating? Get your SPS and Sigma Pi Sigma Regalia Today!

With graduation approaching, it’s a great time to get your regalia to show your SPS and/or Sigma Pi Sigma pride at graduation! TEAM-UP Together Scholarship Deadlines Extended

The TEAM-UP Together Scholarship Program (TUTSP) developed by TEAM-UP Together Lead Partners and administered by SPS, supports African American students in the pursuit and attainment of their bachelor’s degrees in physics and astronomy. Awards of up to $10,000 are available!  Applications are open and the deadline has been extended until April 7, 2023.  Learn more and apply here!
