Apply for the Livermore Lab Foundation Undergraduate Fellowship

The Livermore Lab Foundation (LLF) is a nonprofit philanthropic partner to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). LLF is currently accepting applications for an undergraduate fellowship that connects students with LLNL's premier resources and mentors. LLF provides direct student funding, allowing more time for research, studies, and ultimate success in scientific careers, and supports fellows with assigned Lab mentors and access to LLNL facilities and resources primarily engaged in key research areas, such as climate resilience, neurodegenerative disease, and fusion innovation. There will also be an enriching Fellows Week program tailored for the cohort of fellows to facilitate connections, knowledge sharing, skill building and career development.

The fellowship application window is open, with details on the LLF website. Applicants must submit a statement of interest, resume, and faculty letter of recommendation no later than January 10, 2025, with a focus on those historically underrepresented in the field, low-income/financial need, and/or first-generation college students. Any questions can be directed to fellowships@livermorelabfoundation.org.
