Careers Toolbox

SPS provides free career resources including webinars, advice articles, and resources to help you prepare for interviews and land the job.

The Careers Toolbox is a free online tool that provides self-guided support for undergraduates seeking to enter the workforce. The Careers Toolbox features statistics for physics degree holders, sample resumes, job search information, and more! Download the book for free or purchase a hard copy to be sent you!

Alumni Engagement Program

Through the Alumni Engagement Program, you and your chapter can engage with alumni for career advice, mentorship, job shadowing opportunities, or to schedule an in-person or virtual speaker for your next chapter or zone meeting! You can browse profiles within the alumni database and filter based on geography, engagement level, discipline, and job sector. Once you’ve selected an alum, simply click “Request this Alum” and fill out the required fields within their profile to connect with them.

The Alumni Engagement Program is a great resource to consider for planning chapter activities and to keep in your arsenal of career and professional development tools. You can learn more about the Alumni Engagement program here. And, if you know of any alumni who may be interested in joining this program, request that they fill out the join the Alumni Engagement form.
