SPS Summer Internship Applications are Open NOW!

Apply your physics skills to policy, outreach, education, and more! Applications for the SPS Summer Internship Program are open!

Students are placed at organizations, such as NASA, NIST, and APS, where they can promote the advancement of physics and astronomy within their host organization using their energy and diversity.

Participating organizations assign one or more mentors from their senior staff to guide each intern’s work and overall experience. The SPS National Office administers the program, hosts joint orientation and concluding sessions, and coordinates group activities throughout the summer.

To learn more about 2020 program descriptions and placement sites, visit here. If you're interested in past intern experiences, check out their blogs and final presentations!

The application deadline is Wednesday, January 15th, 2020. Apply today!
